Romain Grosjean will return to single-seater racing this weekend as he will contest the Auto GP round at Spa. Formerly known as Euroseries 3000, an earlier incarnation of the championship was won by Felipe Massa in 2001, the year before he made his F1 debut. The Auto GP series uses chassis based on those used by A1 Grand Prix from 2005-2008

Ferrari bringing new exhausts to Valencia

Ferrari will debut a new exhaust configuration in the European Grand Prix this weekend. It is likely the layout is influenced by Red Bull’s exhaust-driven diffuser configuration, which is credited with helping the RB6 achieve high levels of downforce. According to Ferrari: The most significant feature is a new configuration for the exhaust system, aimed at improving the aerodynamic efficiency of the car.

Vitantonio Liuzzi wants to demonstrate the improved pace he showed in the Canadian Grand Prix again at Valencia this weekend. Richards not willing to take F1 ‘risk’

Prodrive boss David Richards has said he wasn’t willing to risk job losses at his company by entering F1 in 2011 . Richards, who revealed in April he was not applying to compete in F1 next year, told The Independent : I wasn’t prepared to risk everyone’s livelihoods. It was quite interesting to watch the reaction of everybody when I told them.
