BMW Sauber celebrated a strong performance and six points at the European Grand Prix. Kamui Kobayashi drove almost the entire race on one set of tyres and put in some storming passes to take seventh, while team mate Pedro de la Rosa only missed out on a point thanks to a post-race time penalty

From ninth on the Valencia grid to a fourth-place finish, Williams’ Rubens Barrichello – and his FW32 – enjoyed a very strong European Grand Prix. And although Nico Hulkenberg’s race ended prematurely, he had also been running in the top ten in the second Williams. Overall it was a successful outing for the British team, and Sam Michael, Williams’ technical director, is confident they will be equally competitive at the forthcoming Silverstone race…

On the face of it, Robert Kubica’s fifth place in Sunday’s European Grand Prix looked like a good result for Renault. However, had it not been for a bit of bad luck with the timing of the safety car the team are convinced it could have been a whole lot better, as chief race engineer Alan Permane explained in his post-race debrief…

Given Red Bull’s 2010 pace, it’s hard to believe that Sebastian Vettel’s European Grand Prix victory was only his second win of the season. Lewis Hamilton may have extended his championship lead with second place, but Vettel now has him – and McLaren team mate Jenson Button – back in his sights.

Despite a McLaren not as quick as the Red Bull and a drive-through penalty for passing the safety car, Lewis Hamilton still managed to bag second place in Valencia, much to the disgust of former team mate Fernando Alonso. Hamilton, who retained his lead in the driver standings, felt his penalty was fair and is now looking forward to an upgraded MP4-25 for his home race in two weeks’ time…

On Saturday in Valencia Sebastian Vettel took his fourth pole position of the season, and Red Bull’s eighth. Although they’ve struggled, on occasion, to convert their dominance in qualifying into race results, Red Bull – and Vettel – hope that, with a little luck on Sunday, victory at the European Grand Prix could be theirs for the taking…

Over recent months Adrian Sutil and Force India have become a package to be reckoned with, a points contender at every race. After shining in all three practice sessions in Valencia, this weekend looked set to be no different.

Renault’s Robert Kubica is a real racer, who always works hard and never seems fully satisfied with his results. Kubica’s qualities as a driver have undoubtedly helped push Renault out of the midfield, and the French team are hoping to challenge Mercedes GP for fourth place in the constructors’ championship. On Sunday the Polish driver will start the European Grand Prix from sixth on the grid, and he’s optimistic he’ll be able to add to the team’s tally of points…

After being beaten fair and square by McLaren and Ferrari in Canada, Red Bull were in fighting form on Saturday in Valencia with Sebastian Vettel taking pole position from team mate Mark Webber. With McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton in third, and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa making up the top five, we’re set for an exciting European Grand Prix on Sunday.

Red Bull picked up their pole position string again in Valencia on Saturday afternoon, as Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber sewed up the front row for the European Grand Prix. Going into the final runs of Q3 it was the Australian who held the advantage, but Vettel put a superb lap together to snatch the premier starting slot away, stopping the clocks in 1m 37.587s. Webber improved, but 1m 37.662s wasn’t quite enough…
