Race – McLaren one-two in Montreal thriller

Friday analysis – Red Bull keep their cool in Montreal

Lower than expected ambient and track temperatures caused a lot of head-scratching on Friday afternoon in Canada as teams found Bridgestone’s super-soft option tyre sliding around and therefore graining badly because they could not generate their operating temperature, whereas the medium-compound primes had been fine in the morning. We take a team-by-team look at progress in Montreal ahead of this weekend’s Canadian event…

Alonso: Ferrari can turn fortunes around

With just one win and a 26-point deficit to championship leaders Red Bull in the 2010 standings, Ferrari have not enjoyed the best of starts to the season.
